Mt. Utsubuki, Utsubuki Park
Mt. Utsubuki (204m high) is the symbol of Kurayoshi, a treasure house of natural forest full of castanopsis and other plants. Promenades, observation points, and arbors are provided so that one can enjoy the forest bath  in all seasons.
Utsubuki Park at the foot of Mt. Utsubuki is one of the best cherry blossom-viewing spots in the Sanin area. A lot of cherry trees and azaleas of various sizes bloom in spring and the park is full of tourists.

Kurayoshi Museum, Kurayoshi Museum of History and Folklore
This museum in the Utsubuki Park is an example of the cream of modern architecture. Kurayoshi museum exhibits works associated with this area by Kanji Maeda and Tatehiko Suga. It also displays local history, and archaeological and ethnological materials. The Museum of History and Folklore exhibits ethnological materials of the Meiji and Taisho periods including Kurayoshi kasuri and agricultural equipment.

Hasedera Temple
The miniature shrine in the main hall is a national important cultural property. This is one of the few buildings of the late Muromachi era in the Sanin area. About 50 emas (wooden plaques) are dedicated in the hall, describing the customs and people's faith from the Muromachi era to the Meiji period.
