Dainichiji Temple
The temple tradition says that it was established by Ennin in 841 and rebuilt by Genshin in 988. A lot of tiles with Buddhist scriptures that are believed to be the oldest in Japan have been discovered here and an Amitābha (national important cultural property) is preserved. Nearby are big gingko trees and a five-story pagoda complex, which provide good windows into the past.

Shingonshu Ohirayama Konpirain
A temple of sermons and prayer. It is also the twentieth temple  of the anti-senility thirty-three Kannon, this temple is visited from all over the country. There is a sermon and prayer service for group visitors (reservation is required).

Asai Mochikko Club
This company periodically produces and sells foodstuff such as rice cake pounded with kine (wooden mallets), tender tofu (oboro dofu) and miso at the roadside station Inubasari . Tender tofu (oboro dofu) is reputed to be quite delicious and sells out unless one goes on the first day of sale.
